Vitamin B12 is an essential water-soluble vitamin required for nucleoprotein and myelin synthesis, cell reproduction, normal growth, and normal erythropoiesis. Vitamin B12 is essential for folate utilization, and its absence results in a functional folate deficiency. Vitamin B12 deficiency can take months to years to become symptomatic due to large body stores. Anemia is usually (but not always) the first sign of B12 deficiency.
If you have methylation problems, it helps you absorb Vitamin B12, helps with digestion and absorption of nutrients, normal metabolism of nutrients, energy metabolism/support, immune support and proper nerve function.
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is both a vitamin and a hormone. Vitamin D3 is manufactured by the body in response to the skin’s exposure to UVB rays in sunlight. Without vitamin D3, the body cannot absorb calcium. Vitamin D powers over 300 processes in the body, and deficiency is highly correlated with many chronic disease states.
